The demo interface does detect the language (Language Identification) of the text that is pasted into the text field.
The coverage of languages in this demo will soon include various common languages like Spanish, French, German, Polish, Russian, Italian, Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, Arabic, Chinese, or Bulgarian. Our focus is to expand the language coverage to low-resourced languages like Azerbaijani or Uzbek as well. Please contact us, if you are interested in more details.
The NLP backend in this demo generates a JSON-NLP format as output and exchange format. JSON-NLP is a powerful annotation standard in JSON that is flexible enough to cope with the variation of linguistic properties that we find in the more than 7,000 languages on the planet. Semiring provides technologies to process, visualize, and interact with JSON-NLP as the standard for API interfaces to common NLP technologies. JSON-NLP is our chosen free and open Middleware and annotation standard for efficient computing of NLP analytics of unstructured text and language data. Semiring provides APIs and code environments for Go, C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, or Common Lisp and Prolog to interact with JSON-NLP and the related libraries.
The demo is based on Semiring‘s own infrastructure. It is completely independent of 3rd party cloud services or technologies. It can be operated on any cloud environment with common OS instances, as well as on premises in a secure and private environment of the corporate intranet. The API gateway technology and service pipelines are scalable to accommodate large data sets and high performance efficient processing times.
Most of our technologies are developed in Go or C/C++ with performance and high level availability in mind.
